Terms of Service
Welcome to Rambhost. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Rambhost.com, client.rambhost.com, and any hosting, domain, website support, billing, client portal, or related services provided by Rambhost (“Rambhost,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By using our website, creating an account, purchasing services, submitting an order, or continuing to use our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Rambhost provides web hosting, domain registration support, website setup assistance, email setup assistance, migration support, website care services, and related digital services.
Some services are provided through third-party infrastructure, registrars, software platforms, and service providers. These may include hosting infrastructure providers, domain registrars, WHMCS billing/client management software, payment processors, email providers, security tools, and other technical partners.
2. Client Account
You may need to create an account through the Rambhost client portal to purchase or manage services. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and current information, including your name, email address, billing information, domain details, and contact information. Rambhost is not responsible for service interruptions, missed renewal notices, domain loss, failed verification, or account issues caused by inaccurate or outdated contact information.
3. Domain Names
Domain registration, renewal, transfer, and management may be provided through third-party domain registrars.
You understand that domain availability is not guaranteed until the domain is successfully registered and confirmed. A domain appearing available during search does not guarantee final registration.
You are responsible for renewing your domain before expiration. If a domain expires, it may become unavailable, enter redemption, require additional recovery fees, or be registered by someone else. Rambhost is not responsible for loss of a domain due to nonpayment, expired billing information, inaccurate contact information, failure to renew, or failure to respond to domain verification requests.
Domain registrations may be subject to the rules, policies, and terms of the applicable domain registrar, registry, ICANN, or other governing authority.
4. Hosting Services
Rambhost hosting plans provide website hosting resources according to the plan purchased. Hosting resources, features, limits, and availability may vary by plan.
You agree not to use hosting services in a way that harms server performance, security, network stability, other customers, or Rambhost’s providers.
Hosting services are intended for lawful website use. Resource-intensive, abusive, illegal, deceptive, or harmful activity may result in restriction, suspension, or termination.
5. Website Help and Setup Services
Rambhost may offer paid website help services, including WordPress installation, website migration, DNS setup, SSL setup, business email setup, domain name help, launch assistance, and website care.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, website help services are limited to the specific scope purchased. Additional work, revisions, troubleshooting, custom development, content creation, design work, or technical fixes may require a separate quote.
Rambhost does not guarantee specific search engine rankings, traffic, sales, leads, revenue, or business results.
6. Payments and Billing
You agree to pay all fees associated with the services you order. Services may be billed monthly, yearly, one-time, or according to the billing cycle shown at checkout or in your invoice.
Invoices are due by the due date shown. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of services.
Rambhost may use third-party payment processors. We do not store full credit card numbers unless a payment processor or billing platform securely handles payment method storage according to its own policies and compliance requirements.
7. Renewals
Some services renew automatically or require renewal before expiration. You are responsible for reviewing invoices, renewal dates, domain expiration dates, and payment notices.
Failure to renew hosting, domains, or related services may result in suspension, cancellation, deletion, domain expiration, redemption fees, or permanent loss of service.
8. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund eligibility depends on the type of service purchased.
Domain registrations, domain renewals, domain transfers, SSL certificates, third-party fees, setup work already performed, completed website help services, migrations, custom work, and administrative fees are generally non-refundable.
Hosting refunds, if available, will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis unless a specific refund policy is stated on the product page or invoice.
To cancel a service, you must submit a cancellation request through the client portal or contact Rambhost support. Simply not using a service does not automatically cancel billing.
9. Acceptable Use
You may not use Rambhost services for:
- Illegal activity
- Malware, viruses, phishing, or fraud
- Spam, unsolicited bulk email, or abusive mailing practices
- Hacking, scanning, exploiting, or attacking systems
- Hosting stolen, copyrighted, counterfeit, or infringing material without authorization
- Adult, obscene, abusive, harassing, hateful, or exploitative content where prohibited by law or provider rules
- Cryptocurrency mining or resource abuse unless expressly approved
- Content or activity that harms Rambhost, its customers, providers, networks, or reputation
- Any activity that violates applicable laws, registrar policies, payment processor rules, or third-party provider terms
Rambhost may investigate abuse complaints and may suspend or restrict services to protect customers, infrastructure, providers, or the public.
10. Email Use
Email services, where available, must be used responsibly. You may not send spam, phishing emails, deceptive messages, or bulk email that violates applicable laws or provider rules.
Email deliverability is affected by many factors outside Rambhost’s control, including recipient servers, DNS records, spam filters, blacklists, and user behavior. Rambhost does not guarantee inbox placement.
11. Backups and Data
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of websites, files, databases, emails, and other data.
Rambhost may offer backup-related services or tools, but unless a specific backup service is purchased and confirmed in writing, we do not guarantee that backups will be available, complete, current, or restorable.
You should keep independent copies of important files and data.
12. Security
You are responsible for keeping your website software, plugins, themes, passwords, scripts, and user accounts secure.
Rambhost may help with security setup, SSL, or website care if purchased, but you remain responsible for the security of your website content, software, user accounts, and access credentials.
If your website is compromised, used for abuse, or threatens server/network security, Rambhost may suspend or restrict the service until the issue is resolved.
13. Support
Rambhost support may be provided through the client portal, email, or other published support channels.
Support covers Rambhost services according to the plan or service purchased. Support may not include custom coding, third-party application troubleshooting, content changes, SEO work, plugin conflicts, theme conflicts, malware removal, or advanced development unless specifically included or quoted separately.
14. Third-Party Services
Rambhost may rely on third-party providers for hosting infrastructure, domain registration, billing, payments, email delivery, security, analytics, and other functions.
Your use of certain services may also be subject to third-party terms, including registrar terms, registry policies, payment processor terms, WHMCS-related workflows, and infrastructure provider rules.
Rambhost is not responsible for third-party outages, registrar actions, registry rules, payment processor decisions, software vulnerabilities, or provider-level service changes outside our control.
15. Service Availability
Rambhost works to provide reliable services, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation unless a specific written service level agreement applies.
Services may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, abuse prevention, provider issues, network problems, DNS propagation, security incidents, software errors, payment issues, or events outside our control.
16. Suspension and Termination
Rambhost may suspend or terminate services if:
- Payment is overdue
- You violate these Terms
- You violate acceptable use rules
- Your account information is inaccurate
- Your website creates security or abuse issues
- A provider, registrar, payment processor, court, or authority requires action
- Continued service creates risk to Rambhost, customers, providers, or infrastructure
Suspension or termination does not remove your responsibility to pay outstanding invoices.
17. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you provide, upload, or create, subject to any third-party rights.
Rambhost retains ownership of its branding, website content, templates, processes, documentation, designs, and materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.
You must have legal rights to any content, images, trademarks, software, or materials you upload or ask Rambhost to use.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rambhost will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages, including loss of data, loss of domain names, business interruption, loss of revenue, loss of search rankings, or loss of customer opportunities.
Rambhost’s total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to Rambhost for the affected service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
19. No Professional Advice
Rambhost may provide general website, domain, hosting, or online presence guidance. This does not constitute legal, financial, tax, compliance, cybersecurity, or professional advice.
20. Changes to These Terms
Rambhost may update these Terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on Rambhost.com. Continued use of our services after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
21. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be sent through the Rambhost contact page or client portal.
